About me:
I, Steven John Dean was born at Oldchurch Hospital, Romford, Essex (now Greater London) at 9.30am 19th August 1955. My parents, Billy and Eileen, were both Londoners shifted to Dagenham during the second world war, and the three of us moved back to London in 1956.
I had a great childhood in East Ham, but as a youngster I always dreamed of extensive travel, which I did achieve in later life; visiting most of Western Europe, SE Asia, America and Australiasia, where I now reside in the vicinity of Perth, Western Australia.
In my working life, I have experienced most types of employment from labouring and factory work to quite lucrative executive positions, but throughout my life I have sung and played guitar and bass in numerous musical groups.
Mainly rock, pop and blues bands, doing both original material and cover numbers, but also jazz and solo acoustic work. I still play to this day, writing, playing and recording songs of Truth and Oneness with Ras Banamungu & The DET-N-ATORS.
After a lifelong interest in philosophy and an irresistable urge to uncover the Truth of life, which included going up many blind alleys such as religion and the study of conspiracy theories and facts, I was introduced to A Course in MIracles in May of 2010.
Since then I have devoted myself to daily and devoted study of the work in order to learn thoroughly the message within. In early January of 2015, I considered that I had gained sufficient knowledge of the Truth to begin teaching it and posted my first video on Facebook and YouTube shortly afterwards.
Since then, there has been more than enough interest to warrant my opening of this website which features all my existing Truth videos and also those to come. The world is waking up and this website is dedicated to awakening people to the Truth; as more and more are now doing at an ever-increasing rapidity.
These videos are the result of five and a half years devoted and daily study of ACIM.
It is my most sincere wish that they are instrumental in awakening the world to the Truth and establishing a far more agreeable environment for all of us.
